What's' with the meat (silverbeet and garlic)

Silverbeet and garlic

Ingredients

1 bunch of silverbeet
4 crushed garlic cloves
4 tbsp of olive oil

Preparation

Heat plenty of butter or oil in a large saucepan until hot.
Add an excessive amount of chopped or crushed garlic.
Stir and fry for a minute but don’t let it brown.
Add the washed and chopped silverbeet and stir to wilt.
Season well with salt and pepper.
Cover to help it wilt down and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Serve hot.

Don't laugh, but I've never heard of silverbeet before. Is it native to Australia? It looks like something I would really love to eat :), Miriam@Meatless Meals For Meat Eaters

Even though I don't know what silverbeet is, it looks like a very healthy side dish!
