I'm proud to report that all our veggies are doiing well. Here is what we started with...
Now look at us...
The lettuce has been the star so far. We keep eating it and it keeps growing back. These wee plants cost $3 each and have paid for themselves already.
The radish plants have grown really well but the raishes are tiny. We're thinking it could be because they are in such small pots so we bought a bigger pot and planted baby carrots too.
Our tomatoes are growing well, they've actually grown higher than the sticks since I took this pic and they have flowers. The pic was taken about a week ago.
Here's me enjoying our first strawberry. We;ve had three so far and the next one is almost ready.
Hope you enjoyed the pics. I'll keep you updated on how we are progressing. I'm loving having our own veggies, I get such a sense of a achievement from looking after our babies and seeing them florish. Whoever said I didn't have a green thumb was wrong.
Love KB

They look great! When we lived in New Hampshire before moving to Florida, we were forced to begin growing all our vegetables indoors. We had a summer season of about two weeks.
Tarlz - I was wondering if that's why they are growing so well. I did rinse out the bottle really well before I filled it with water.
Good to hear you are growing stuff too.
JJ - thanks.
Woohoo, go me.
Waaaaa! I miss summer already.... We had snow this evening and more tomorrow. I am not impressed!
