Ingredients for 3-4 servings
4 spuds
1 tbs butter
1 egg
1 onion
1 clove garlic
400g minced beef
2 tbs Worcester sauce
2 Oxo (beef stock) cubes
1/2 cup of veggies
1 tbs cornflour
grated cheese
salt and pepper
Prep
Preheat oven to 190°C
Boil 4 peeled spuds for 20 mins
Boil 4 peeled spuds for 20 mins
Mash with milk, egg & butter
Add salt and pepper to taste
Fry onion and garlic
Add mince and brown
Add Worcester sauce,
2 oxo cubes
1/2 cup of water and veggies
Simmer for 2 mins
Thicken with cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup of water
Cook for a further 2 mins
Spread mixture in a casserole dish
Cover with mash and cheese
Bake 20 mins 190°C or until spuds are golden brown
Add salt and pepper to taste
